At the beginning of the match there was the toss,

By losing it, the England captain was cross.

Indian captain MS Dhoni chose to bat, 

And all the Indian players except the openers sat. 

The match started with a crispy four And it looked like the Indians would hit more.

Some big ones did fly out of the park, 

And then England followed down a path which was dark.

That's when wickets tumble and so did a hat-trick,

India weren't able to break the wall of brick.

But the recovery of India was also fast,

India did not lose the match at last.

The final Score of India was a flexible one,

And the evening had started, which hid the sun.

England's start was good, but unable to continue

that

They lost Wickets, and were unable to bat.

The Man of the Match was R. Jadeja for his 5 wicket

haul,

And India lifted the Champions Trophy, after all.
