Sunil and the Valuable Coins

Once upon a time there was a king named Akbar He had 1,50,000 solidiers and 5 generals, each general having 30,000 soldiers each. But he liked one general the most, whose name was Sunil. He was not only very strong and handsome like the other ones but also very intelligent. He was very obedient and listened to every word of Akbar.

One night when the guards were asleep a thief crept into Akbar's palace and stole his valuable gold coins. The next morning when Akbar went to wear rings and present himself as a rich emperor in front of some noble guests, he saw that all his valuable coins were missing. He immediately informed Sunil and all the other generals about the robbery. He also asked them to keep this incident a secret and whoever would be the first to solve this problem and bring the thief in front of his eyes get would a reward of Rupees 25 lakhs. It took the whole afternoon for Sunil to figure out a plan. He immediately went to Akbar's palace and told his plans to the emperor Akbar being very impressed by the plan told Sunil to give his plan a try.

Now, the valuable coins din't look like any ordinary Now one. They had a particular: shape, design and other engravings on them. And Akbar would not use those coins for public occasions. So, no one in the whole country had any clue about his coins not even his maids and generals. But now, only the thief who stale the coins came to know about it.

The next morning Sunil announced that all the citizens, tourists, soldiers, generals, and even the maids should come at Akbar's palace for a meeting. with the help of his group of soldiers, he made sure that no one remained hiding inside their houses. In the palace he announced, "Dear people, who have gathered here in this wonderful morning, I am here re to throw a test to you all, whoever wins will get Rupees 5o lakhs. The test is that you all have to make a replica of Emperor Akbar's most valuable coin. Yes, it might seem to be a very difficult job but the coin's shape, design and the engravings are not so difficult, and never give up the hope, always remember about the prize, Rupees 50 lakhs. Your materials are kept beside. Good luck! Your time starts now". With that everybody over there got their materials in no time and started working on their projects. Now the thief thought that he could earn more money and he started to create and actual replica of the valuable coin. The whole afternoon went by and all the people were done with their work. Some made a huge coin, some made a tiny coin, some gave the pictures of the gods, but the thief got the exact replica. Now Sunil told them that each person sould come one after another. Each one came to Akbar and showed them their replica, but every time one came with their replica, it would not satisfy the Maharaja. At last when the thief came, the maharaja looked at his replica and was surpised. He immediately shouted and called for Sunil. When Sunil came and heard that the replica made by the person was exactly identical, immediately told his Soliers to arrest the thief. The thief surprisingly asked "Why are you arresting me?!! What Wrong did I do? If I had made the same replica I should get the reward". Now Sunil told that, No one in the whole country knows how Maharaja Akbar's valuable coins look like. But you know the exact texture of the coins. This proves that you are the thief who sneaked into the palace and stole those coins that night. Now tell me where those coins are". The thief told where he had kept the coins and was put to prison for 2 years. As Akbar had promised, he gave Rupees 25 lakhs to Sunil.

The natural disaster in Uttarakhand

The natural disaster in Uttarakhand "Disaster" had been merely a word for me in the pages of dictionary. On 15th June 2013, I was stunned and horrified with the news of the natural calamity that struck the ill fated state of Uttarakhand in North India. The recent natural calamity has shown us what actually a "Disaster" is. On that day there were cloud bursts in various areas of Uttarakhand. The torrential downpour in various parts of the hilly region washed down soil along with silt, sand, stone and boulders. The cloud burst caused enormous quantity of water to flow down the hilly slope and hilly springs joining the main river of the area, the Alakananda. As it is, even during normal time, hilly rivers flow at a high speed. Due to cloud bursts there are flash floods when enormous quantity of water tries to flow out in a short span of time. The speed of water flow increases to much more than the normal. The water level in the river gorge rises, carrying away silt, sa...

Ram is very good in studies but not so good in sports and other activities.Whereas, Sam is not at all a good student but he is extraordinary in sports and other activities especially in social activities.
