My Best Birthday Gift

Every year I get many gifts on my birthday from my friends and relatives. Last year I got my best birthday gift from my father. It was a cute puppy.

When my papa brought him he was only one and half month old. That time he used to drink milk only. I call him Sheru. Papa made a nice home for Sheru with a big packing box. Whenever I study he sits beside me. When I play in the garden he becomes my partner. He brings the ball back from the place where I throw it. In the morning when I get ready for my school, Sheru helps me by bringing my tie, identity card etc. Sometimes I forget to take my water bottle, then he quickly hangs the bottle around his neck and runs to my school bus. When some one enters our house he barks at him. He always runs after the cats in our Campus.

I love Sheru very much. I have told my father that I would sacrifice my next birth day gift for Sheru. His packing box has become very small for him and he needs a new home. Papa promised to make a new wooden house for Sheru with a red top. This is my best birthday gift which I have got till now.

On 15th June 2013, I was stunned and horrified with the news of the natural calamity that struck the ill fated state of Uttarakhand in North India. A True Friend A true friend is the one who stays beside us in both good and bad times. Ram and Sam are an example of such friends. They love each other, believe each other, and trust each other. They share food, joys and sorrows with each other. They are the perfect example of true friendship. They live in the same complex.
