Children are like twinkling stars-

They twinkle throughout the day

Children are like blossoming flowers,

Sweet and happy all the way.

They are like the tiny buds,

That will surely bloom one day.

They are so innocent and cute,

Lovely in every way.

They are so unpredictable

Sometimes they laugh and sometime they wail

They have no worries at all

In life's journey, they smoothly sail.

They love to play with toys

And soon break them all

But we need not scold them for that

As they are still immature and small.

We should not ignore the children

Who are poor and sad,

As they too are God's creation

If neglected, He'll feel bad.

It's a joy to see these children,

Joy to see them grow,

Just recall your childhood

And you will love them even more.
