As I walk through the land of darkness down a lonely path,

Reflecting on the sins I committed, there's no going back.

As I remember all those people whom I left, and those who left me,

I see myself surrounded by their shadows, like I'm a boat on the sea.

The times passed by when I was needed by my loved ones,

How I had let them down, ashamed to be called one of God's sons.

I hurt and treated like dirt those, who needed me the most,

Not knowing their worth on this earth, until everything was lost.

There was someone's trust that I had broken,

Never got a chance to say the truth unspoken,

Until it was all too late, too late to mend,

Ill never forget the day I lost a friend.

Now there's no going back, no getting back the things that were once mine,

I've lost the race, I have to go back again to the starting line.

In the end, all I can say is that I got what I deserved,

I will never be trusted, I will never be loved.

And to the people I let down, I apologise for my behaviour,

Because sorrows are momentary, but regrets are forever..

A True Friend A true friend is the one who stays beside us in both good and bad times. Ram and Sam are an example of such friends. They love each other, believe each other, and trust each other. They share food, joys and sorrows with each other. They are the perfect example of true friendship. They live in the same complex.
