I still remember the first day of school
I came in sobbing and looked like a fool
You came and drew me into a room
You wiped my tears and made me chuckle soon.
Years passed.. we learnt, played and grew up
together
Little by little, we came closer to each other
A sweet transition in our rapport -
From friends, to good friends and then to best
friends.
Years rolled by .... We made many good friends
Were hectic with exams and classes to attend.
Sometimes green-eyed, I cried that you had
forgotten me
Then calming down, I comprehended that
could not be.
Time went by and the last year of school came
With tears I remembered our passed jokes and
games.
