My First Day at School

My First Day at School
My First Day at School

Well, I know it is rather lame for a class XI student to be discussing her first day at school - who is interested? None would be, had I narrated about the day I trotted down to school for the first time in a teeny-weeny tunic with two fluffy sleeves, fountain- like ponytails, cuddly pink cheeks, loud wails and inarticulate lingo people would have given me a patient haring. Instead, I am going to share with you my first day in Class XI as an M P Bian. To be very frank, my previous school had an entirely different aura, which made me quite nervous here. I followed the crowd from the main gate to the Assembly Hall, but what next? Where should I go? I could see flocks of students going out and flocks of students coming in but what should I do with myself? I had no idea.

So what I chose to do instead was to stand under the portraits of Mr. and Mrs. Birla with my bag against the wall, meanwhile staring at the huge population in from of my eyes. I glanced at nearly all of them -by-one and eavesdropped into their discussions. I had clearly nothing to do for half-an- hour.

Then I thought about making a move. I espied a girl who seemed to be of my age. She too looked bewildered like me. With a lot of preparation, bubbling confidence and a smile, I approached her. I thought of sticking onto her until I reached the classroom. She would be my first friend at M.P. Birla. F.H.S School.

 "New student?" I asked.

"Yes", she replied. ... (BINGO!)

Section?

"E (BINGO!)

Class XI, right?"

"No, Class IX" ...

(HOPES SHATTERED, TERRIBLE)

Until we reached the classroom after the assembly, I had made at least one acquaintance. But soon after I was in class, I managed to introduce myself to two more new comers Everything was new to me. Although I still love my previous school, yet M.P.Birla F. H. S. School fascinates me. The first few weeks as a newcomer in Class XI is actually bizarre, for you know little about the school and even lesser about people around you. I am really slow at making friends, which many complain about. Nevertheless, I really enjoy being called an MPBian. I have made several friends and wish to make many more. I know where to and where not to stand in the Assembly Hall and, most importantly, I don't mistake Class IX girls for Class XI any more!

He was not only very strong and handsome like the other ones but also very intelligent. He was very obedient and listened to every word of Akbar. One night when the guards were asleep a thief crept into Akbar's palace and stole his valuable gold coins. The next morning when Akbar went to wear rings and present himself as a rich emperor in front of some noble guests, he saw that all his valuable coins were missing. He immediately informed Sunil and all the other generals about the robbery. He also asked them to keep this incident a secret and whoever would be the first to solve this problem and bring the thief in front of his eyes get would a reward of Rupees 25 lakhs. It took the whole afternoon for Sunil to figure out a plan. He immediately went to Akbar's palace and told his plans to the empe...

A True Friend

A True Friend A true friend is the one who stays beside us in both good and bad times. Ram and Sam are an example of such friends. They love each other, believe each other, and trust each other. They share food, joys and sorrows with each other. They are the perfect example of true friendship. They live in the same complex. Ram is very good in studies but not so good in sports and other activities.Whereas, Sam is not at all a good student but he is extraordinary in sports and other activities especially in social activities. But studies and games never became a barrier between them. Their families have a strong bond between them.Gradually Ram's father and Sam's father also became friends and similarly Ram's mother and Sam's mother became friends too. They go together to watch movies, go for outings together and even for long tours. Once, an incident happened. Sam's father suddenly died due to a heart attack. That time Sam and his mother were going through a very tou...

How can you make the world you live in -your home, your city, your nation - a cleaner and greener place ? Mother India is a and of vast cultural heritage with nonviolence and universal brotherhood. Nature provided all the magnificent gifts imaginable to our country. It has vast expanses of green plains, snow capped Himlayas in the north and blue oceans in deteriorated a lot with loads of pollutants. Once considered to be the heaven, now deteriorated a lot with loads of pollutants.
