It was an evening in July. It was raining ceaselessly. Mother was preparing food while I studied. I went to her for clearing some doubts. Oh! What a pitiable sight I saw. A small sweet kitten outside the kitchen's open window, rain soaked, helpless, drenched and trembling on seeing me, it made a 'meow' sound - feeble and low. Mother had also seen it. We gave it some biscuits soaked in milk. This was just the beginning. It started coming everyday and we gave it fish, meat, milk, egg - whatever possible. I called it 'Kitty' and somewhat fell in love with it. In the morning when I used to leave for School it came, as if to say bye. I expected to see it again after returning and my expectations were fulfilled every day. In this way it came closer to us, especially to me. We had lots of fun with it. Now it has become Kitty's habit to come to the window and sit there all the time. I have clicked many photos of it and have even patted it twice. But this fun has not lasted long as we have shifted to our new house. Even today, I miss Kitty very much. Now, only the pictures and videos I took remind me of Kitty.
