Many of us must have have kind of nightmare. One such incident also occurred with me, in a dark and stormy night, when I was left alone at home for a day as my parents had gone to our ancestral house to attend a funeral of some relative of mine. It is an indelible mark on my mind.

It was a night in early December of 2012. It was such a terrible incident that I cannot even forget the date on which it occurred. It was 12th of December of 2012 (12.12.12), the devil's date. That night was very rainy and stormy. I was alone in my house. The whole morning I spent my time reading books, watching television and playing video games. In the evening I was bored and so did my holiday home work and it took me just a couple of hours to finish all of them. After that I watched television for half an hour and then played video games for an hour.After that I ordered a pizza for one as my dinner from Dominos and paid them with the cash which my parents gave me before leaving.

After having my dinner, I went upstairs to my room and made my bed. After that I turned off the light of my room and went downstairs and watched the television for another half an hour. Then I went to the bathroom attached to my room and had my regular bath. After that while I was brushing my teeth, suddenly the lights turned off. Somehow I washed my mouth and ran downstairs with a torch to check if the inverter was off as the power went off.

Even the lights in my room and bathroom should be on. I found that the inventer was on. Then I heard somebody crying in my room. I ran up into my room and saw nothing over there and the sound also stopped. Suddenly I heard the same noise again. This time it came from the downstairs bathroom. On hearing this, I rushed to that bathroom and there also was nothing. After this I thought that I heard it wrong and went into my room. This time again the sound of crying came, but from my bathroom On hearing this I was very afraid and ran downstairs towards the main door and tried to get out of the house. But I forgot that my parents had the keys with them and so I had to give the payment of the pizza and received it from the delivery man through the iron bars of the window beside the main door and thus, the door was locked and I could not get out from my house. Then as I turned back to any place to hide, I saw some kind of a dreadful creature which jumped upon me. I fainted.

When my senses recovered, I found myself on . bed with my parents beside me. I asked mom what had happened to me. she told me that she didn't know anything except that she found me sleeping on the floor when she returned with dad in the morning.

So, at last I was happy to know that it was a dream or you can say a nightmare. But I can surely tell you that it was the worst nightmare which a person could have in his or her life and also that it was also the worst nightmare in my life which, freaked me out of my senses in my dream also.
